Emirates Golf Club

Venue of the PGA-sanctioned European Tour event, the Dubai Desert Classic. The signature clubhouse at the Emirates Golf Club – modeled like Bedouin tents – remains the most eye-catching in the region, while the original 7,185 yard, par-72 Majlis course has been complemented for the past eight years by a second par-72 challenge, the 7,100-yard Wadi course. Both combine the natural rolling desert terrain for a serious test of golf.

The Wadi is now redeveloped and redesigned by Nick Faldo, who will take the course and all of the practice facilities at the club to a much higher level.

Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club

Although the Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club has hosted just two of the sixteen Dubai Desert Classics staged so far, the city-based club is also a popular venue for tourists and is a landmark in this bustling metropolis.
Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club

Situated in the heart of the city on the shores of the creek, Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club has recently undergone a major redevelopment, transforming it into a  true golfers’ paradise. The club’s 18-hole, par 71 course rolls 6,857 undulating  yards along well-groomed fairways lined with date and coconut palms, attractive water hazards and shrubbery that lend a distinctly tropical air. The course boasts
a new front nine, re-designed by Thomas Björn, providing an even greater challenge for residents and tourists alike. There is also a new nine-hole Par 3 course, a hi-tech studio, a floodlit driving range, and extensive short game practice facilities.

The championship standard golf course is the centrepiece of a resort that
now incorporates the luxury 225-bedroom Park Hyatt Dubai, 92 four-bedroom executive villas, a 121-berth marina, yacht club, golf clubhouse, restaurants, gym and leisure swimming pool.

Nad Al Sheba Club

Nad Al Sheba Club is a 6,630-yard, par 71, 18-hole golf course, which famously  provides a warm welcome to all visitors. Sharing the site with the world famous  Nad Al Sheba Racecourse, home to The Dubai World Cup (the world’s richest horse race), the front nine of the golf course meanders around the outside of the racecourse and the challenging back nine is laid out inside the Racecourse perimeter

The accurate golfer is rewarded with lush, rolling fairways and gently undulating greens, but wayward golfers may need to watch out for the nine course lakes and deep pot bunkers. Moreover, the course presents an additional experience for golfers under floodlights and the cool, Arabian night sky. Nad Al Sheba Club was the first fully floodlit 18-hole course in the Middle East region, and golf can be enjoyed until midnight, every night of the year.

The Al Badia Golf Resort

Dubai Festival City sees a golf course within a residential community. Just two  miles from Dubai International Airport, the Al Badia Golf Resort, designed by Robert Trent Jones II LLC, has no less than eleven lakes of varying sizes and several smaller streams, all feeding water down to Dubai Creek. 'Rivers of Sand' have also being created to cast contrasting shadows, which fall across the course as the sunsets. The clubhouse is currently under construction.

In the interim a beautifully appointed six bedroom golf villa offers a boutique meeting place complete with executive facilities and exceptional service. Four Seasons has been awarded the resort’s management contract.

The Montgomerie Dubai

Designed by Desmond Muirhead and Colin Montgomerie, The Montgomerie is another five-star course enjoying growing popularity with overseas visitors. It embraces the traditions of a Scottish links course making it a unique golfing experience in this part of the world. One hole which always provokes comment  is the par-3 thirteenth which is not only designed in the shape of the UAE but  also lays claim to being the largest single golfing green in the world.
At 58,000 sq ft, it is the size of nine greens combined

Arabian Ranches Golf Club

Arabian Ranches Golf Club, was built as a true 18 hole, par 72, desert style grass course, a signature course designed by Ian Baker-Finch in association with Nicklaus Design. Miss the immaculate grass of the fairways and greens and you enter the “sandy waste”, with its indigenous shrubs and bushes. All standards of
golfer will also appreciate the GPS yardage service available on every golf cart.

The Spanish Colonial style Clubhouse boasts the Ranches Restaurant and Bar, with a terrace overlooking the 9th and 18th holes. Within the Clubhouse are 11 luxurious Guest Rooms with spectacular views overlooking either the Golf Course or the Lake. Step out of your room, hop onto your golf cart and drive or walk
straight to the first tee, totally refreshed for your game of golf. The perfect setting for any golfer.

Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa

A popular option for visiting golfers is the nine-hole challenge at the Jebel Ali Golf Resort and Spa on the outskirts of the city. A superbly designed course, the resort's nine holes are played out alongside a stunning marina and feature a saltwater lake which comes into play on five of the holes as well as the famous
peacocks.

With the wind from the Arabian Gulf picking up as the day progresses, it is a course which, when played as an 18-hole challenge, will really test your club selection each time around.

Abu Dhabi Golf Club  - Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi Golf Club features two 18 hole courses; the National Course and the Garden Course which were designed by Peter Harradine. Both courses are par 72 with lush fairways, strategically placed bunkers and generous greens to challenge golfers whatever their handicap. The two courses occupy 162 hectares
and feature undulating terrain meandering through pockets of palms and ornamental trees, shrubs and seven salt water lakes.

Tower Links Golf Course  - Ras Al Khaimah

Located in Ras Al Khaimah, just one and a half hours drive away from the city of Dubai, this new club is an 18-hole, 7209 yard, par 72 course complete with driving range and short game facilities. Additionally, nine of the holes and the practice facility are floodlit for night play.

The unique character of Tower Links Golf Club is derived from the course being located in and around a mangrove reserve, which not only provides a natural  backdrop to the course, but also presents many golfing challenges
